Before you book
The practical
questions.
What first-time padel travellers usually need to know, without making you dig through comments and old posts.
Can I find a game if I am travelling alone?+
Usually, yes. Many featured clubs publish open matches or community events through their own app, Playtomic, MATCHi or WhatsApp. Match your level honestly and message the club if their rating system is unfamiliar.
Should I bring my racket?+
Bring it if you already know and like it. Every featured Bali club and most Bangkok clubs offer rentals, so a short trip is also possible with hand luggage only. Confirm stock before peak hours.
When should I play in tropical weather?+
Early morning and after sunset are the safest default. Covered courts help with rain, but they are not always air-conditioned. Hydrate before the session and leave more recovery time than you would at home.
Are the retreats already bookable?+
Not yet. The current form registers non-binding interest so dates, levels and budgets can be validated. Any final travel package will be sold and operated with appropriately licensed local partners.
How independent are the recommendations?+
There are currently no paid rankings. Club facts and prices are linked to official sources. If a future guide contains affiliate links or a hosted stay, that relationship will be labelled clearly.
No payment. No commitment.
